How to choose
- Match the data type to your need: work emails, mobile numbers, company records or people profiles.
- Check the pricing meter: per credit, per user, per package or flat monthly. Estimate your monthly volume before comparing.
- Test on your own list using a free plan or trial where one is offered.
- Confirm how data reaches your stack: CRM sync, sequencer push, API or flat files.
- Read the contract terms: billing period, credit rollover and how to cancel.
- Decide who will run the tool day to day: sales reps, operations staff or developers.
For more detail, see the guide to waterfall enrichment for lead generation teams, the FullEnrich and BetterContact comparison, the Surfe and Clay comparison, the Crustdata and Clay comparison and the People Data Labs alternatives guide.
BetterContact
BetterContact describes itself as a smart waterfall enrichment platform with 20+ providers, one bill and only verified data. Its services page explains that the waterfall searches those providers in a single call until a verified match is found, and that you only pay if valid data is found. For sales teams, the vendor points to higher pickup rates through its providers and Connect Intelligence.
Plans start with Starter at $15/mo and Pro at $49/mo. Enterprise is listed from $799/mo, and the page also shows custom pricing. New users can start with 50 credits for free. A buyer should check whether the plan tiers match the mix of phone and email lookups the team runs.
Clay
Clay lists Launch from $185/mo and describes it as the way to start building in Clay. Growth starts at $495/mo and is aimed at teams scaling their GTM motion. Costs also depend on usage. Data Credits start at $0.05 each, and Actions start at less than $0.01 each.
The pricing page also lists a dedicated growth strategist, which Clay describes as its version of a CSM for onboarding and team training. A buyer should check how many Data Credits and Actions a typical workflow uses, because both meters affect the monthly total.
Coresignal
Coresignal says its B2B Data APIs offer stable, fresh and high-quality business data to support long term product and platform needs. It also describes a self-service platform for quick access to data and API subscription management.
The pricing page invites buyers to start free, and it shows a plan at $1,000 per month at $0.007 per credit. This suits product, data and research teams comfortable working through APIs. A buyer should check how many credits a typical record pull uses before sizing a plan.
Crustdata
Crustdata says it gets data from 10+ sources to provide firmographic, web traffic, employee reviews, product reviews, funding, news mentions and more, all combined in one API. The same description appears on its growth equity page. That makes it a fit for investment teams building their own sourcing tools.
Pricing is credit based. New accounts can start free with $20 in credits, and enterprise plans are described as starting from four figures a month. Search starts from 0.03 credits per result, and enrichment starts from 1 credit for people and 2 for companies. A buyer should check which endpoints the workflow needs, since the pricing page lists a rate for each one.
Dropcontact
Dropcontact states that it does not rely on third-party email verification services. Its pricing page describes its own email address verification and validation solution and states 99% validity of the data provided. It suits teams that care most about verified business emails.
Pricing is not published on the pages we reviewed. A buyer should confirm current plans and the fields they need on the vendor's own site.
Explorium
Explorium has announced that it is shutting down operations and will discontinue the AgentSource platform. Buyers should confirm availability directly with the vendor before planning around it. An older release-notes post describes platform enhancements to the way users work with the Explorium platform.
Its pricing page lists a Free Trial at $0 with 100 credits, Lite at $29.99 per package for 500 credits, Starter at $149.99 for 5k credits, Growth at $749.99 for 30K credits and Scale at $7499.99 for 500K credits. Given the announcement, current AgentSource users are the main audience for this entry.
FullEnrich
FullEnrich is described as B2B email and phone waterfall enrichment. The homepage states an 80%+ find rate for its waterfall enrichment. The pricing page says it is built for GTM teams, AI agents, agencies and API resellers.
A free trial costs $0 and starts with 50 credits. The Pro tier is shown at 1,000 credits a month at $0.055 per credit, and the usage calculator recommends Pro with 15K credits at $720/mo for one example team. Pro is positioned for teams that want data on demand to power their GTM or product. A buyer should check how many credits each email and phone lookup uses against their expected volume.
People Data Labs
People Data Labs describes its person and company data as proprietary, and it used that data to examine the Data-as-a-Service industry in a webinar. The pricing page shows a free Testing plan to explore the Person APIs, with contact data not included. The self-serve Pro plan starts at $98/mo and gives access to the full suite of APIs.
Plans run from $0 per month through Pro to custom pricing. For scaled products, the vendor offers custom volumes and white glove support. A buyer should check that the plan tier includes the contact data they need, since the free plan leaves it out.
PredictLeads
PredictLeads describes itself as a company intelligence and technographic data provider and says it is not a platform. What it gives you is the evidence layer a scoring model runs on. That suits teams that already run their own routing or prioritization logic.
Each company you follow is billed at 1 credit per month. Up to 100 API calls per month are free, and the page lists a $40 minimum monthly charge beside the paid tier. A buyer should check which usage tier they will land in before committing.
Surfe
Surfe says its platform combines real-time enrichment, buying signals and AI-powered GTM Intelligence to help revenue teams find and engage the right buyers faster. For teams that want to build on its data, it offers an API and developer platform.
Pricing is per user per month, with Free at $0, Essential at $49 and Pro at $89. Essential is also shown at $39 per user per month with annual billing. Enterprise is a custom plan, with a prompt to talk to the vendor. A buyer should multiply per-user prices by team size before comparing with credit-based tools.
