Appointment Setting Agencies in the UK to Compare in 2026: Criteria and Options
All six UK options here help a sales team reach more of the right buyers, and most of them do it by phone. The difference that decides it is channel and scope: some run telephone-first appointment setting, some add database cleansing and research, and one publishes a monthly starting price. Phone-led teams suit buyers who want calls made for them; broader services suit teams that want more channels.

Which team fits which
Appointment setting looks similar from the outside, so the useful questions are the ones a supplier can answer plainly before you sign. If you are still deciding whether to hire a supplier at all, our guide on how to evaluate a lead generation agency covers the first steps. These six checks work for any shortlist.
- Team size and who makes the calls. Ask how many people will work on your account, whether they are employed by the agency, and how they learn your product before they speak to a buyer. A small team that knows your offer well can be more useful than a large team reading a script.
- Channels. Some suppliers work only by phone, others add email or other outreach. Decide which channel your buyers answer, and ask the supplier to show how each channel is used on a campaign like yours.
- Contract terms. Ask about the minimum term, the notice period, and what happens to your data and call notes when the contract ends. Get the answers in writing.
- Reporting. Ask what you will see each week: calls made, decision-makers reached, appointments set and the notes behind each one. Good reporting lets you judge the work without asking for it.
- How leads are handed over. Ask how an appointment or lead reaches your sales team, what details come with it, and how quickly. A clear handover stops good leads going cold between two teams.
- Pricing visibility. A published starting price helps you budget early. Where pricing is on request, ask for a written quote that names what is included.
It also helps to compare an agency against building the work in house; our page on an in-house SDR versus an outside agency sets out that choice.
Inside Sopro
Sopro publishes a starting price: its pricing starts at around £3K per month. Its blog explains problem selling, where your product or service is presented as the solution to a problem the buyer already has. Another of its articles describes solution selling as focusing on value over features, often with more weight on the service side of the solution. Sopro suits buyers who want a published starting price for budgeting and a supplier that writes openly about how it approaches selling.
Inside Achieve UK
Achieve UK says it serves clients from many industries, including technology, digital, finance, manufacturing, business services, consulting, marketing and retail. That range suits buyers in those sectors who want a supplier used to working across different markets. Pricing is not published on the pages we reviewed. Ask about channels, team size and contract terms on a first call.
Inside ICPConnects
ICPConnects names business development and appointment setting as its flagship service. It describes its core service as a telephone-first engine that books qualified meetings with senior decision-makers and acts as an extension of your internal sales team. It suits teams that want phone-led meetings with senior buyers and a supplier that works alongside their own sales staff. Pricing is not published on the pages we reviewed.
Inside Paragon Sales Solutions
Paragon Sales Solutions offers professional telemarketing services and says clients can expect an increase in leads, appointments, bookings and sales. It says its services can be tailored to your business and that its sales professionals work hard to help your sales targets be met. The company names the East Midlands on its site. Its site lists several ways to get in touch. It suits businesses that want a telemarketing partner shaped around their own targets. Pricing is not published on the pages we reviewed.
Inside Team Telemarketing
Team Telemarketing specialises in non-scripted calls that need full product knowledge, so its callers can hold a professional discussion up to board level. Along with general campaigns, it provides specialist IT and financial services telemarketing, appointment setting and lead generation, database building and cleansing, surveys and market research, event planning and promotions, and follow-up calls. Pricing is on request: the site invites buyers to contact the team for a fast quote. It suits IT and financial services firms that want callers able to speak with senior buyers about a detailed product.
Inside Toucan Telemarketing
Toucan Telemarketing works with companies that want to outsource lead generation for a product, aiming to make sure qualified leads understand why the product is for them. It also offers database cleansing, which removes obsolete data from a marketing list to make future B2B telesales campaigns more efficient. The company invites buyers to contact it to find out what a B2B telesales campaign can do for their sales. Its contact page lists Cheshire. It suits teams that want product-focused telesales and cleaner data in one place. Pricing is not published on the pages we reviewed.
How we compared
This comparison is based on each company's own public pages as of October 2026. We compared the vendor's public pricing and service pages (checked October 2026) with Modern Inbound's published offer. We did not rank the companies; each is described from what it says about its own service, and we left out anything its pages do not state. For background on the wider field, see our guide to modern B2B lead generation and what B2B lead generation means.
